A Week Of Sewing For Swimming, Felixstowe – August 2024

I am delighted to announce a new event being hosted by The Swimming Seamstress at Felixstowe Sewing School. Join us for a week of sewing for swimming in sunny Felixstowe, Suffolk.

From Monday to Friday, 5th-9th August 2024. Make your own swimming costume, onesie, snood and mittens with take home, bespoke patterns and instructions. Craft and beach activities on some evenings with plenty of opportunities for sea swimming (at own risk) in the beautiful water of the Suffolk coast.

You will be provided with expert tuition from an experienced and patient teacher.

Have take home, bespoke patterns and instructions for your costume, onesie, mittens and snood.

Sewing machines available for your use.

Entry requirement; be able to thread and use a sewing machine.

Lunch and light refreshments provided every day.

You will need to organise your accommodation, fabric, threads and haberdashery for your garments (plenty of guidance given).

Evening activities may include beach yoga, beach bbq, walk and a pint.

Places are limited to 6 folk for the week. Non refundable deposit required on booking.

£375 per person.
