A warm welcome awaits you for your workshop at Felixstowe Sewing School, Felixstowe, Suffolk, UK.
Led by the Swimming Seamstress; Amanda Bowden of Felixstowe Sewing School. Benefit from her great experience as a dressmaking teacher in her well-resourced, bright airy classroom.
I am so very much looking forward to welcoming you to Felixstowe for Sewcation III. What a glorious time awaits from Monday 27th to Friday 31st July 2026. Make your own swimming costume, change towel, mittens, wet cozzie bag, snood and onesie. Included are your take home patterns and instructions, a pizza evening and as much sea swimming as you fancy (at own risk). You’ll be provided with expert tuition from an experienced and patient teacher. Home-made cake served at every session.
Sewing machines available for your use.
Entry requirement; being able to thread and use a sewing machine.
You will need to organise your accommodation, lunch, fabric, threads and haberdashery for your garments and accessories (loads of guidance given).
Places are limited to 5 folk for the week. Non refundable deposit required, 50% of the fee, on booking.
